And it's also legal for unwanted intrusions into a woman's body cavities, to wear an item called the rape-rat-trap, a modern version of the chastity belt. It has sharp inward-facing teeth like a python, and is guaranteed to trap an unwanted finger or male appendage poked in there.

Anybody who watched footage of the first day of random searches of people going on the NYC subways, knows what a ridiculous exercise in futility all of this is.
The way the searchers just kind of quickly splayed the purse open and peeked from a far angle and then just waved the people on... all this is, is a colossal hassle that ain't gonna stop anything.
If a terrorist packs enough C4 or more advanced plastiques into certain bodily orifices, it isn't going to matter if he or she hasn't boarded a bus or a train or plane, everybody in line getting random checks is going to go up with the terrorist along with the checkers and whatever real estate and vehicles are in the area.
Out of personal necessity, I already carry those diabetic needles...
